Conflict

Is conflict inevitable? Why do people divide themselves so easily, even at times when it is very clearly against their best interest? How are we different from other animals? What can we learn from conflict in children? What are strategies that have been shown to reduce conflict, and what makes them sometimes so difficult to implement?
